Groomsmen /Woman

Richard “Dickie” Coppard

Best Man

Dickie joined the Grammar School age 13. One of the first people he spoke to was Will in P Block. Initially Dickie thought this bloke at 6’1” with ginger stubble might just be his teacher!

Chloe “Messerschmitt” Amstutz

Groomswoman

I met a young William when I started work at Ryde School. We made a fantastic Christmas party duo- while I motorboated the Head, he was dropping his trousers on the stage 🙌🏼

Pete “Dicko” Dickinson

Groomsman

I met Will when he joined Ryde School as a history teacher. He was a brilliant educator, but even better when using my 13 year old son for his bicep curls in class.

Joseph “Joey” Bancroft

Groomsman

The first time I met Will was to tell him to, ‘Stop crying, it’s just tennis…and you’re ruining my trophy presentation.’ 34 years later, not a lot has changed.

Andy “Smithers” Smith

Groomsman

Unfortunately Smithers did his usual trick of not replying to prompts to complete his wedding words, nor did he send me a photo, so here I am, stitching him up and telling you all he’s a chef, has questionable tattoos and the only reason he got an invite was because of his awesome dog, Floyd.
